September 30, 2008: Fellowships: There's One For You Too! . Part of the noon Edge Luncheon Series; this event will be sponsored by SACNAS at Berkeley. Room to be announced. We will discuss various fellowship opportunities available to everyone besides the always mentioned NSF, Ford etc. fellowships. There are fellowships for everyone....there's one for you too. Lunch will be provided
October 9-12, 2008: SACNAS National Conference. Salt Lake City, Utah. Contact us to inquire about opportunities for travel funding (berkeley.sacnas@gmail.com). Registration is open at www.sacnas.org.
October, 2008: National Science Foundation (NSF) Fellowship Application Workshop. A workshop sponsored by the SACNAS at Berkeley Chapter. Room to be announced. A panel of recent NSF Graduate Fellows will hold a round table discussion on tips in writing your application. Food provided.
