Week Without Walls Day is an event we hold in May of each year. We bring high school students from the Richmond High School District to take a tour of the UC Berkeley campus and to shadow graduate students in the sciences. By doing this we hope to expose the students to the possibility of having a degree and a career in the sciences.
High school students are matched up with graduate students according to their area of interest. We have matched up students in chemistry, engineering, botany, immunology, cell biology and other areas.
